All over the world, vahines (Polynesian women) are known for their great beauty: silky hair, honeyed tanned skin, fresh floral fragrance and devastating charm. For us Polynesians, body care, with all its little gestures, is part of our identity: a river bath, a coconut scrub, a mono'i (aromatized oil) hair mask, and so much more.

In the heart of the valley, on the banks of a translucent river, let one of our purotu (beautiful women) guide you through a typical Polynesian beauty ritual, during which you'll learn some of the vahine's recipes and beauty secrets.

Teua is a direct descendant of the Taaroa family line of Raiatea. Raised in this valley from a young age, she was lulled by its legends, traditions and rituals practiced by her ancestors to this day.

Today Teua shares his love and commitment for his island, its culture and its community every day through his entrepreneurship and his large community on social networks. She will accompany you for half a day as you enter her caring, gentle and tropical-scented world.

  • You will receive an email with a GPS pinpoint of your meeting location for this immersion. Upon arrival at your meeting location, you will see a sign with the NANI logo along the road and a NANI guide waiting for you.

    We recommend arriving by car or taxi. You can park your car on the side of the road like the locals. If getting picked up by taxi, you can have the taxi driver pick you up at the same location.
