Eldest grandson of Robert Wan, a pioneer in Tahitian pearl farming, represents the new generation at the helm of the family business as its Commercial Director.
From an early age, Richard was passionate about science and engineering, driven by a curiosity to understand how things work. However, it was in 2008, upon joining the family business, that he discovered his true calling. Immersed in the world of pearls—a treasure he had known since childhood—he found deep fulfillment in contributing to the growth and prestige of this exceptional legacy.
Today, Richard proudly upholds his grandfather’s vision and carries forward the family’s mission with dedication. Aware of the unique challenges that come with running a family business, he finds motivation in the honor and responsibility of nurturing this remarkable heritage while shaping its future.
