The essential

You land gently in Tahiti, Tahitian Tiare flower in your ear and a smile on your face. There, between green mountains and black sand beaches, you will meet Hervé, a Polynesian rich in experience, knowledge, and mana (mystical power). In the privacy of his home, between his vegetable garden and his mara'e (sacred platform), he will introduce you to the life of a Polynesian living in harmony with his environment and his culture.

The next stop is the island of Moorea, magnificent and authentic. Explore its lagoon aboard the traditional Vaapiti canoe, born from the hard and passionate work of two island brothers who will take you for an unforgettable ride thanks to their means of transport that is both ancestral and ecological.

A short flight will take you to Raiatea, the “Sacred Island” considered the cradle of Polynesian civilization, a place where the first Polynesian canoes landed and from where the Polynesian people spread throughout the rest of the Pacific. There, Vicky will welcome you to her refuge nestled in the valley and will introduce you, with your feet in the river, to Polynesian beauty and well-being rituals.

The equally mystical island of Huahine is an island whose beauty approaches perfection: multiple bays, turquoise waters, spectacular peaks and wild motu (islets). An e-bike outing will be an opportunity to enjoy all the panoramas of the island and familiarize yourself with local life.

If Huahine has seduced you, wait until you discover Bora Bora, a legendary island that needs no introduction. It is known around the world for its idyllic lagoon, its emblematic mountains, and its opulent bungalows on stilts. You will explore the island during a canoe excursion where you will sail through the lagoon and learn about ancestral know-how from your guide.

Last stop: the island of Fakarava, a true wild paradise where the mountains have disappeared to give way to an infinite lagoon and spectacular underwater life. Daily life in the Tuamotus is so different from the rest of Polynesia and Fakarava is an exotic destination for everyone, including Tahitians. One last freshly caught fish and it’s already time to leave.
